Teaching has always been an important part of Geoff’s work, firstly in enabling others to express themselves through making, and secondly being able to pass on his knowledge to others. It is a two way process, a lot of new things can be discovered through working creatively with people.

He was one of the first artists to work on the highly successful Branching Out project which brought people who had suffered mental illness into the outdoor environment where a series of activities helped restore confidence. Those old outdoor education and occupational therapy skills still come in useful. He is often involved in various school and community projects.

He is available for willow weaving courses at all levels, community projects and individual commissions.
